Serial Entrepreneur Oleathia "Butta B-Rocka" Robinson is a highly versatile Executive Film Producer, Director, Screenwriter, Actress, Playwright and Top charting International Recording Artist/ Sync Songwriter. She's also a 3x best-selling author, the Host of Transparency Talks Podcast, and the CEO and founder of BBR Indie Films Festival and non-profit "Artists Rock the MIC Foundation." Butta B-Rocka's mesmerizing and distinctive musical style has allowed her to play in some truly prestigious performances. She performed at the presidential inauguration and played before multiple royal families. Including at the CEO Network Bahamas Conference before the Prime Minister of the Bahamas, for the Moradeun royal family of Nigeria, at the City Gala with Les Brown, Randy Jackson, Mario Lopez, on BET Hip Hop Awards with Nas, at the KY Derby, on Multiple International Cruise Lines, at the LA2 with Jack Black, Alyssa Milano, and she came on right before Dionne Warwick. She has performed at 10 X Grant Cardone Foundation, and shared the stage with Billionaire Bob Duggan, last, she has shared the stage as a guest panelist at the SAVE Summit with Gene Simmons from Kiss and Mark Cuban.
Her singing performances have wooed crowds of all sizes, both domestically and internationally- performing equally well in intimate settings and in massive crowds that numbered well into the thousands.
Her feature film "Finding the Perfect Guy," which she executive produced, directed, wrote, and starred in, is streaming on 26 platforms including Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Tubi, Plex, African Diaspora Network TV, Reveel, Youtube TV, Anoki in India to name a few.
Butta has made guest appearances on various television shows, including Family and Fiance on the OWN Network as herself, Monarch on FOX, and The BET Hip Hop Awards. She has also recently been cast in Atlanta Bosses and All The Queens Men on BET+.
Butta is CEO/Founder of non profit Artists Rock the M-I-C Foundation, bringing artists together from all genres of music and forms of art to impact a change by working with homeless college students. She believes in using her talents to heal and help others who don't have a voice. In 2016, Artists Rock the MIC Foundation 501c3 Non-Profit was created.
Butta continues to achieve significant recognition. Her accolades include the 2023 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award signed by President Biden, the Female Artist of the Year Award at the Black I Am Awards, the title of Hottest Female Vocalist for three consecutive years, and the CARE Award for her community contributions through her organization at Atl's Hottest Awards. She was honored with the Innovator Award at the General Boss and Bossettas Platinum Awards for her work with BBR Indie Films. Butta has also been nominated for Best Female R&B Artist of the Year by the GA Music Awards, recognized as one of the top four female R&B artists in Georgia, and nominated at the RICE Awards.
Butta is dedicated to maintaining the highest level of professionalism and is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including The Recording Academy (Grammy's), The Emmys, SESAC, BMI, Georgia Music, Women in Film & Television (WIFTA), the Guild of Music Supervisors, NABFEME, The EMMY's, and NARIP. She was also inducted into the inaugural class of the Her Music Alliance. Butta holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Marketing with honors from Ashford University. She served as the first Black President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Golden Key International Honor Society and is a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda.
