Judy Paster writes, sings, and lives from a place of freedom-free to love deeply, worship openly, tell the truth, and follow wherever the music leads. A Nashville-based, Pennsylvania-grown Americana artist, Judy blends folk, roots, country, and singer-songwriter influences into music that is gritty, soulful, and deeply human.
Her songs explore resilience, faith, loss, healing, and the search for peace, drawing from a life shaped by both heartbreak and adventure. She began writing songs at age eight, later spending a season living on the road out West - experiences that helped shape the independent spirit and honest voice at the heart of her music.
Judy’s artistry has earned national recognition. Billboard called her “an artist truly on the rise,” and her songs have been featured in film and television, including Christmas Crush, The Holiday Exchange, and Music City Mistletoe. She has received honors including the 2021 Josie Music Award for Folk/Americana Artist of the Year and a Canadian Covenant Award for co-writing Jazz Blues Song of the Year.
She has released multiple projects, including one full-length album and four EPs, and has been a frequent performer at Nashville’s world-famous Bluebird Café. She has also shared stages with acclaimed musicians, including Grammy-winning members of The Time Jumpers.
