About Sayer McShane
Sayer McShane is a fantastic blues-based rock show band. Their live show features hot guitar, grooving drums, powerful vocals, engaging humor and raw showmanship. They play a unique blend of rock, blues, Motown, funk, soul and pop. Some artists are great performers and some are great entertainers. Sayer McShane is both. Two people never made rockin' the house look this easy, sound so natural and so much fun.
Originally from Detroit, MI the band appeals to a diverse audience, always surprising people with their big sound featuring guitar, drums and rich, soulful vocals. Kristin Sayer “The Git-tar Player” sings lead, plays guitars, bass, keys, tenor sax, drums, writes, arranges and produces the music. Carolyn McShane “MC Shane” sings lead, harmony, plays drums, percussion, keys, guitars, records and engineers the music.
Sayer McShane are receiving radio airplay for their singles, What’s Up With That? and Fistful Of Water. They have since released a new single St. Patrick’s Day (Life Is Good) backed with I’m Going To The Show and Like The Rain. They have opened for acts like Edwin McCain, Buddy Guy and Robin Trower as well as played for the NHL Hockey All Star Game with 3 Doors Down and many others in Raleigh, NC. They were featured at the North Carolina State Fair and and were nominated for Detroit and Carolina Music Awards.
Along with their original material, Sayer McShane also performs an incredible variety of music to accommodate almost any audience whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, restaurant, night club or a private house concert in your living room. Shows can be performed with full drums and guitar or just two guitars for “acoustic” intimate settings. They always thrill crowds with their powerful yet sensual performances and entertain audiences with their fun, upbeat, interactive dialogue. Sayer McShane really put on an amazing show unlike anything you’ve seen before.
