Our club circuit version offers a period authentic dance set along with some great country music and of course, our signature Classic Rock gems. Buckeye Lake Winterfest is a massive, single-day winter party held every year on the last Saturday of January around the lake's shoreline. Modeled after Groundhog day, Benny the Bass is placed in a heated tank at dawn (6:30 AM) at the North Shore Ramp. Minnows are added to the tank at 7:00 AM with a three-minute timer. If Benny eats a minnow, it predicts an early spring; if he refuses, it means six more weeks of winter.
