About

Kamauriay “King Kam” Walker
Kamauriay Norrez Walker, known professionally as King Kam, is an undefeated professional boxer competing in the super lightweight division. Standing 6'1" with an orthodox stance, he has compiled a perfect professional record of 7-0 with 6 knockouts since turning pro in April 2024. His combination of size, power, and ring IQ has quickly established him as one of the more compelling young prospects at 140 pounds.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and based in Miami, Florida, Walker began boxing at age 9 under the guidance of his father, Marcus Walker. He rose through the amateur ranks to capture eight Florida State championships and four national titles, and in 2016 earned a place on Team USA. His amateur record of approximately 76-23 reflects both the volume and quality of competition he faced during those years.
That foundation has translated effectively to the professional ranks, where six of his seven victories have come by stoppage. In 2025, Walker was named BLK Prime Boxing Fighter of the Year, recognizing his undefeated campaign and impact within the promotional platform. He has also been featured by the World Boxing Council as one of its Prospects of the Week, further highlighting his rising status in the sport.
What continues to set King Kam apart is the balance he has maintained between high-level competition and education. While building his professional career, he completed a Master’s degree in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University after previously earning his bachelor’s degree from the same institution. In a sport where many fighters focus solely on the physical demands, Walker’s academic achievement positions him as a dual-threat — a skilled competitor with the long-term perspective and professionalism that appeal to both matchmakers and potential sponsors.
His training is overseen by his Father & former light heavyweight world champion Glen Johnson. Management remains a family operation led by Marcus Walker & his younger brother Anzen.
At 26 years old, with an undefeated record, elite amateur credentials, recognition as BLK Prime Boxing’s 2025 Fighter of the Year, formal acknowledgment from the WBC as a top prospect, a Master’s degree, and the backing of a respected trainer and dedicated management, Kamauriay “King Kam” Walker continues to build a complete professional profile. He remains focused on becoming a ranked contender and eventually challenging for a world title while representing the values of discipline, education, and consistent performance both inside and outside the ring.
