Hard Edge Country Performer Trent Hughes is preparing for the 2023 Concert Season This Singer-songwriter calls Northern Colorado home and was born and raised Colorado, he is quickly becoming known for his hard-edge country style long with his unique ability to blend the traditions of three-chord country with a southern rock flair to invent a sound of his own. From early on in his life, Trent had a passion for music and would listen and sing along to the radio every chance he had. Starting guitar at age eleven, Trent realized his desire to play to a crowd and write his own songs. He started his first band at age fourteen and has been playing to larger and larger crowds ever since. Hughes’ passion to pursue a musical journey began in November of 2013 when prior to the CMA Awards when he was invited to perform at “The Stage”, one of Nashville’s premier venues on Broadway. Hughes recalls, “There were musicians that played for Tyler Farr, Jerrod Niemann, and Josh Turner all onstage, and it was so crazy seeing how talented they all were.” Hughes has kicked off the touring season, performing at venues up and down the Front Range and will making announcements throughout the year as his performance schedule continues to fill. In the past this performer has kicked his performance season off in Bakersfield, California by performing at the SRL Winter Showdown. This nationally televised event proved to be the start of amazing touring seasons for the singer-songwriter, where he played stages of all sizes from Tennessee to California. The 24-year-old Colorado native embraces new original country music while honoring the past. A typical show of Hughes’ can include three-chord country, southern rock with hints of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin, and other rock classics. However, Hughes is just as comfortable alone with his guitar as he is performing a high-energy full band set. Trent and his band will be performing songs off his 1st album in 2023. The release of this compilation of songs has been in the works for 3 years and was engineered and produced by “Grammy Award” winner John Macy. Hughes states “It’s been an amazing 3 years and I have been so blessed to work with such amazing talent”. I am looking forwarded to tracking new songs for the next album. That process has already started and will continue through the end of March.
